Synopsis: After winning the 1983 elections, ending seven years of dictatorship; in Easter 1987 the government of Raúl Alfonsín was reeling from a military uprising. For 4 days, a huge popular mobilization supports Alfonsín, who offers himself as a negotiator to the rebel military. The growing tension is resolved on Easter Sunday in a meeting that the President holds behind closed doors with the military that culminates with the iconic phrase “The house is in order.”
